The BCCI has revised India's home season schedule, changing venues for T20Is against Bangladesh and England. The October 6 match against Bangladesh is moved from Dharamsala to Gwalior due to renovations. Venues for T20Is against England in January 2025 have also been swapped between Kolkata and Chennai.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a revised calendar for India's upcoming home season, which includes two significant changes in the venue arrangements. The first alteration is the relocation of the first T20I against Bangladesh on October 6, 2024, from Dharamsala to Gwalior, owing to dressing room renovations at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA).
The match in Gwalior will be the inaugural international fixture at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium since the historic ODI in 2010, where Sachin Tendulkar scored a double century. Additionally, the BCCI has swapped the venues for the first and second T20Is against England, scheduled in January 2025, shifting the opening match to Kolkata and the second to Chennai.
According to the BCCI, dates for the T20Is against England will remain unchanged despite the venue swap. The adjustment was made following a request from Kolkata Police due to Republic Day commitments. India's home international season kicks off with a series against Bangladesh from September 19 to October 12, 2024, followed by New Zealand's visit for three Test matches from October 16 to November 5.
