President Murmu Commends Indian Olympians for Paris Performance

President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday met the Indian Olympic contingent and extended her congratulations for their outstanding performance at the recently-concluded Paris Games 2024.

The Rashtrapati Bhavan shared images of the meeting at Ganatantra Mandap, emphasizing Murmu's words of encouragement for the athletes, who she said are role models for the nation's youth.

India secured a total of six medals, comprising one silver and five bronze, during the Olympics held in Paris from July 26 to August 11, with 117 athletes participating in the games.
