The talented Indian golfer will face Poland's Krawczynska Matylda in the next round. Matylda secured her semi-final spot by defeating Sweden's Amanda Gyliner 4&3.

Other quarter-final results saw Kylee Choi of the US triumph over French player Celeste Bobo Lloret 3&2, and Sweden's Havanna Torsetnsson overcame Norway's Henriette Spilling Gjelten 5&3. Mannat aims to become the first Indian to win this prestigious championship.

The R&A Girls' Amateur Championship, established in 1919, grants exemptions to the winner in notable events like the Women's Amateur Championship, US Girls' Junior Championship, and an invite to Augusta National Women's Amateur Championship.

Mannat's path has been challenging, overcoming tough competitors like Matilde Santilli, Emily Peabody, and Annabel. In her quarter-final, Mannat initially struggled but regained composure, ultimately securing a historic semi-final berth.

Another Indian, Zara Anand, had a commendable performance but fell short in the Round of 16 against Celeste Bobo Lloret.

Mannat's journey continues as she eyes the prestigious title, demonstrating resilience and strategic game planning despite adverse conditions.
