Indian Duo Shines at US Open: Balaji and Bhambri Advance

Indian doubles tennis players N Sriram Balaji and Yuki Bhambri have reached the second round at the US Open. Balaji and his partner Guido Andreozzi won a tough match against Marcus Daniell and Miguel Reyes-Varela. Bhambri and his partner Albano Olivetti also progressed, while Second seeds Bopanna and Ebden will start their campaign on Thursday.

Indian doubles tennis players N Sriram Balaji and Yuki Bhambri made a promising start at the US Open, advancing to the second round with their respective partners.

Balaji and his Argentine partner Guido Andreozzi overcame New Zealand's Marcus Daniell and Mexico's Miguel Reyes-Varela after a one-set deficit, winning 5-7, 6-1, 7-6 in a match that lasted over two hours and 36 minutes. Balaji has been in fine form, having also impressed at the French Open.

Meanwhile, Yuki Bhambri and his French partner Albano Olivetti defeated local wildcards Ryan Seggerman and Patrik Trhac with a 6-3, 6-4 victory. They will face the American-Dutch duo of Austin Krajicek and Jean-Julien Rojer in the next round. Second seeds Bopanna and Ebden are set to begin their campaign on Thursday.
