Mehidy Hasan Miraz led Bangladesh's bowling attack by claiming five wickets to restrict Pakistan to 274 in their rain-hit second test at Rawalpindi. Bangladesh is aiming for a 2-0 series victory after winning the first test comprehensively. Taskin Ahmed also contributed with three wickets, maintaining pressure despite a strong start by Pakistan.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz led Bangladesh's bowling attack with a five-wicket haul, dismissing Pakistan for 274 in their rain-affected second test at Rawalpindi on Saturday. After half-centuries from Shan Masood, Saim Ayub, and Salman Agha, Shadman Islam and Zakir Hasan managed to take Bangladesh to 10-0 by stumps.

Taskin Ahmed supported Miraz, adding three key wickets, as Bangladesh contained Pakistan's run flow after a rain-shortened first day. Drafted in after Shoriful Islam's injury, Taskin set the tone with a swing delivery that bowled Abdullah Shafique in the first over.

Despite a strong recovery by Pakistan, reaching 99-1 at lunch, Bangladesh's bowlers capitalized on key moments. Miraz dismissed captain Masood for 57, setting off a collapse. Bangladesh's control persisted, leading to crucial dismissals and ending Pakistan’s innings before stumps.
