South Delhi Superstarz Make Record-Breaking Victory in Delhi Premier League

Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya led South Delhi Superstarz to a record-breaking win against North Delhi Strikers in the Delhi Premier League. The team posted a colossal 308/5, the second-highest T20 total ever, and restricted their opponents to 196/8. Badoni also set the record for most sixes in a T20 innings.

Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya entered record books and so did their side South Delhi Superstarz, who thrashed North Delhi Strikers by 112 runs in their Delhi Premier League contest here on Saturday.

After posting the second highest ever total in T20s of 308/5, South Delhi restricted North Delhi Strikers to 196/8 in 20 overs, securing a spot in the semifinals. Badoni set a record for most sixes in a T20 innings, hitting 19 sixes and eight fours for an astounding 165 off 55 balls.

Priyansh Arya was equally phenomenal, striking 10 sixes and as many fours to score 120 off 50 balls, including six sixes in one over off Manan Bhardwaj. Their record-breaking 286-run partnership for the second wicket is now the highest in T20 cricket for any wicket.

Despite Pranshu Vijayran's valiant effort, scoring 62 from 32 balls, North Delhi Strikers fell short of the mammoth target. Raghav Singh was the standout bowler for South Delhi, taking 3/34 from his three overs.
