Suhas Yathiraj and Nitesh Kumar took significant strides towards winning their maiden gold medals by reaching the men's singles final in their respective categories at the Paris Paralympics.

Suhas, a silver medallist at the Tokyo Games, is on track to become the first Indian shuttler to secure back-to-back Paralympic medals after defeating Sukant Kadam. Meanwhile, Nitesh guaranteed himself a medal in SL3 with a victory over Japan's Daisuke Fujihara.

Nitesh's journey began after a train accident in 2009, but he has since emerged as a formidable opponent. Both will now prepare for their respective finals in hopes of capturing gold for India.
