Indian golfer Saptak Talwar logged his career-best result on the Asian Tour by securing a tied sixth position at the USD 500,000 Mandiri Indonesia Open, concluding with a final round of 4-under 68.

Despite facing two late bogeys, Talwar's cumulative score stood strong at 12-under 272. His impressive rounds of 69-67-68-68 marked his inaugural Top-10 finish on the Asian Tour. Previously, Talwar's best professional achievement was a T-2 finish at the Jaipur Open on the PGTI.

Among other Indian contestants, Khalin Joshi and Indian-American Manav Shah both scored 7-under and finished tied at 30th. In a dramatic turn of events, England's Steve Lewton clinched the title in a sudden-death play-off against Australia's Aaron Wilkin and China's Sampson Zheng.
