Following Harvinder's historic gold medal win, the duo aimed for another breakthrough, quickly gaining a 4-0 lead by taking advantage of the Australian team's inconsistencies. They won the first two sets impressively with scores of 31-18 and 35-24 but faced a setback in the next two sets, which they lost 27-33 and 24-33.
