Ravindra Jadeja Achieves 300 Test Wickets Milestone
Ravindra Jadeja became the seventh Indian cricketer to take 300 Test wickets by dismissing Khaled Mahmud in the second game against Bangladesh. Jadeja's achievement came during Bangladesh's first innings, where they were bowled out for 233. He also became the second fastest to achieve 300 wickets and 3000 runs in Test cricket.
On Monday, Ravindra Jadeja became the seventh Indian to take 300 Test wickets, achieving this milestone by dismissing Khaled Mahmud in the second game against Bangladesh.
Jadeja's crucial caught-and-bowled dismissal ended Bangladesh's first innings on day four, as they were bowled out for 233 shortly after lunch.
Other Indian bowlers with 300 or more Test wickets include Anil Kumble (619), R Ashwin (524), Kapil Dev (434), Harbhajan Singh (417), Ishant Sharma (311), and Zaheer Khan (311). Jadeja, in his 74th Test match, also became the second fastest to reach the double milestone of 300 wickets and 3000 runs in Test cricket, following England's Ian Botham.
