The Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship witnessed thrilling performances on Tuesday, as athletes from Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra took center stage.
D Vinayagamurthy of Tamil Nadu created a stir in the under-16 girls' category by defeating second seed Ranjhana Sangram with a commanding 6-2, 6-0 win. Her next challenge comes against 16th seed Prachi Malik.
Samarth Sahita also made waves in the boys' under-16 category, defeating Neel Kelkar with a 6-2, 6-4 victory. Top seed Prateek Sheoran continued his dominant run, overpowering Abhivadya Mishra 6-0, 6-0. In the under-14 girls' battles, Parthasarthi Mundhe and Aahan advanced comfortably.
