The 23-year-old Nigerian, who has been vital for Leverkusen this season with seven goals in ten matches, shared images and videos of the accident on social media before deleting them. A club source confirmed his condition post-incident.

The crash occurred en route to Frankfurt airport when the driver lost control due to fatigue, leading to a collision with a truck. Boniface's agency has yet to comment on the ordeal. Meanwhile, Leverkusen prepares for their upcoming Champions League match against Brest.
