Srinagar Ke Veer Oust KVN Bangalore to Reach ISPL 2nd Qualifier

Srinagar Ke Veer deliver a clinical performance to oust KVN Bangalore Strikers from the Indian Street Premier League. Overcoming a sluggish start, star performances from Sagar Ali and Lokesh Chauhan headlined the chase, sealing victory and setting up a showdown with Falcon Risers Hyderabad for a finals berth.

In a thrilling showdown at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium, Srinagar Ke Veer outclassed KVN Bangalore Strikers to advance to the next stage of the Indian Street Premier League. They achieved this triumph by executing a precise all-round performance, securing the win by four wickets during the crucial Eliminator on Thursday.

Chasing a target of 100 runs, Srinagar appeared to falter at the start. Sagar Ali, usually explosive, displayed unusual restraint though eventually he loosened up with a six, scoring 28 runs off 21 balls. Despite Ashiq Ali Shamsu's dual early wickets causing some jitters, Srinagar rebounded spectacularly.

Lokesh Chauhan's rapid-fire batting offset Shamsu's costly over, transforming the team's fortunes, while Rajesh Sorte and Farman Khan’s contributions sealed the match with four balls remaining. KVN Bangalore earlier raised 99 for 7, with key plays from Saroj Paramanik, and contributions from Sanjay Kanojjiya and Prathamesh Pawar energizing the innings.
