Vidarbha Gears Up for Ranji Trophy Showdown Against Kerala

Vidarbha retained their 17-member squad for the Ranji Trophy final against Kerala at VCA Stadium. Last year's runners-up aim for their third title, relying on stars like Yash Rathod and Harsh Dubey. Kerala, making their first final appearance, narrowly defeated Gujarat in the semifinals.

Vidarbha has announced they will stick with their 17-member squad for the much-anticipated Ranji Trophy final against Kerala, set to take place at the VCA Stadium in Jamtha starting Wednesday. Akshay Wadkar will lead the side, as confirmed by the Vidarbha Cricket Association.

Entering the finals unbeaten, Vidarbha secured their spot with an impressive 80-run victory over Mumbai, the defending champions. This year's final mirrors last year's clash, where Mumbai won their 42nd title by defeating Vidarbha, who have previously claimed the championship twice.

Kerala, achieving their maiden final appearance after edging out Gujarat in the semifinals, will face Vidarbha, who counts on top performers like Yash Rathod, boasting 933 runs, and bowler Harsh Dubey, with 66 wickets this season, to secure their third title.
