Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj has expressed his commitment to focusing on his performance during the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season with the Gujarat Titans. Despite witnessing India's triumph at the ICC Champions Trophy, Siraj believes that national team selection is out of his control. Instead, he prioritizes taking wickets for his team.

Speaking on the show 'Backstage with Boria', Siraj recounted his experience from the 2022 T20 World Cup. He noted the change in his mindset since then, stating, "Selection is not in my hands. What is in my hands is taking wickets and performing for my team." His philosophy has been shaped by past experiences, reinforcing the importance of focusing on things within his control.

Reflecting on his fitness and mental preparedness, Siraj expressed confidence. "My rhythm defines my performance, and I've worked on my mindset," he shared. No longer part of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) after a memorable tenure, Siraj now looks forward to new challenges with the Gujarat Titans.
