Quinton de Kock showcased an impressive performance, remaining not out at 97 runs, dominating the match for Kolkata Knight Riders. With support from Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who added 22 not out, the team reached a total of 153 for two wickets in 17.3 overs.
Moeen Ali was unfortunate to be run out after contributing just five runs, while Ajinkya Rahane fell to Hasaranga for 18. The wicket of Rahane marked a crucial moment as it was caught by Deshpande off Hasaranga's bowling.
The opposing bowlers, namely Jofra Archer and Maheesh Theekshana, contained the runs relatively well but failed to secure wickets; particularly, Archer's spell of 2.3 overs cost 33 runs without a wicket.
