Amid challenging weather conditions, Indian golfer Diksha Dagar displayed resilience, wrapping up the first round of the AIG Women’s Open tied for 30th place. Her one-under-par 71 score sheet boasted four birdies, alongside three bogeys at Porthcawl.

Diksha, making her sixth appearance in the tournament, demonstrated her potential by briefly holding a stronger position tied at 14th before three late bogeys. Her performance, though slightly below her personal best tied-21st finish in 2023, was commendable as the sole Indian in the field.
