Andhra Pradesh Invites Griffith University for Sports Excellence Center

Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh has invited Australia's Griffith University to establish a sports centre of excellence in India. The initiative aims to foster a sporting culture among the youth. Lokesh explored collaborations in public policy, sustainability, and innovation during his tour of Australia.

In a bid to cultivate a robust sporting culture, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh extended an invitation to Griffith University to establish a sports center of excellence in India. Lokesh highlighted the university's track record of producing 10 Olympic gold medallists.

During discussions with Griffith University representatives, Lokesh emphasized the role of sports in instilling discipline and leadership among youth. He expressed his vision for India's sporting culture to rival that of top-performing countries.

In addition to sports, Lokesh also explored partnerships in public policy, sustainability, and innovation. His seven-day tour of Australia aims to attract investments and strengthen collaborations for Andhra Pradesh's development.
