Continuing her stellar debut performance, Mahit Sandhu of India claimed the gold medal in the women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions at the Summer Deaflympics in Tokyo, marking her fourth medal at the games.
Mahit scored a total of 456.0 after 45 shots, outpacing South Korea's Dain Jeong, who scored 453.5, and Hungary's Mira Zsuzsanna Biatovszki, who finished with 438.6. In achieving this, Mahit set new world records in both Deaf Qualification and Deaflympics for her discipline.
