At the Syed Modi International Super 300, young talent Tanvi Sharma impressed fans by defeating Hong Kong's Lo Sin Yan, propelling her into the women's singles semifinals with a decisive win. Tanvi, just 16, had previously beaten Japan's former world champion Nozomi Okuhara.

In upcoming matches, Tanvi faces Hina Akechi, who triumphed over Sung Shuo Yun. Fellow competitors Unnati Hooda and Kidambi Srikanth also secured semifinal spots, with Unnati challenging Neslihan Arin and Srikanth facing off against Mithun Manjunath.
