Trichat Cheenglab of Thailand made headlines by setting a new course record at the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espana. With an impressive score of 63 (-9), Cheenglab finished the second round leading by seven strokes at Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf.

Meanwhile, India's Aditi Ashok, a previous winner of the event, delivered a solid performance to tie for the 11th position with a score of 5-under 139. Her compatriot, Avani Prashanth, made a commendable move, carding a 3-under 69 to tie for 17th place at 4-under.

The competition continues as participants like Alessandra Fanali of Italy and the French duo Nastasia Nadaud and Celine Herbin remain contenders for top spots. Six other players, including England's Mimi Rhodes and Singapore's Shannon Tan, are close behind, eagerly pursuing the LET Order of Merit title.
