Elena Font, the club's vice-president, acknowledged the issue and apologized, noting the complications arose from a new digital ticketing system. Font assured fans that the club would address the problem swiftly.

Despite sending ticket PDFs as a temporary fix, the situation resulted in long lines and frustrated fans. The stadium, under renovation, is currently operational at half capacity with 45,000 seats. Barcelona's next challenge is hosting Atletico Madrid in just three days.
