Chandigarh University Triumphs at Khelo India University Games

Chandigarh University secured its overall championship at the Khelo India University Games, winning 67 medals with 42 golds. Olympian Srihari Nataraj was the standout athlete with nine golds, aiding Jain University’s success. Despite having more medals, Lovely Professional University finished as runner-up due to fewer golds.

Chandigarh University has successfully defended its title as the overall champion at the Khelo India University Games 2025, amassing an impressive total of 67 medals, comprising 42 golds, 14 silvers, and 11 bronzes.

India's top swimmer, Olympian Srihari Nataraj, emerged as the most successful athlete, clinching nine golds and two silvers, greatly contributing to Jain University's haul of 27 golds.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) finished its campaign in second place with a total of 78 medals, which included 32 golds, 25 silvers, and 22 bronzes, while Guru Nanak Dev University settled for third.
