Kenyan runner John Korir secured his second marathon win of the season in Valencia, reaffirming the strength of the Korir name. Despite an earlier setback at the Chicago Marathon, Korir achieved a personal best with a time of 2:02:24.
Joining Korir in showcasing a series of remarkable performances was Germany's Amanal Petros, who broke his national record by 53 seconds.
