The sale of tickets for the 2026 T20 World Cup commenced on Thursday, with prices initially set at Rs 100 or LKR 1000 at certain venues. The highly anticipated tournament, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, will run from February 7 through March 8.

The ICC has launched ticket sales for what promises to be the 10th exciting edition of their T20 event, which will see 20 teams compete in matches across eight different venues. In India, the matches will be spread across Ahmedabad, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata, while Sri Lanka will host games in Colombo and Kandy.

India, the defending champions, will play against the USA during the opening matches on the first day of the tournament. ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta emphasized that their strategic focus is on affordability and accessibility, making this tournament a global celebration of cricket for fans from all walks of life.
