Sansad Khel Mahotsav: Sparking a National Sports Revolution

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini emphasized that the 'Sansad Khel Mahotsav' transcends mere sports, forming part of a comprehensive health and lifestyle movement. This initiative supports Prime Minister Modi's vision of sports massification, unearthing grassroots talent and positioning Haryana as a potential global sports hub.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini praised the 'Sansad Khel Mahotsav' on Saturday, highlighting its role as more than a sports event but as an integral health initiative encouraging the youth toward active, disciplined lifestyles.

Aligned with the 'Khelo India' and 'Fit India' initiatives, the Mahotsav has grown into a widespread movement aimed at nurturing a healthy, self-reliant, and disciplined generation, reflecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of sports as a mass movement.

Addressing the event's finale in Fatehabad, Saini noted the participation of 45,000 athletes from the Sirsa constituency, with 3,604 making it to the finals. He emphasized sports as an untapped area of talent and opportunity, urging continued focus for India to strive toward becoming a global sports power by the 2036 Olympics.
