Hamilton's New Era: Ferrari Switches Race Engineer
Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton will work with a new race engineer after Ferrari reassigned Riccardo Adami. Despite media speculation of tension, Hamilton downplayed the reports. Ferrari plans to announce a replacement soon. Meanwhile, Ferrari prepares for a new season starting March 8 in Australia with updated technical rules.
Formula One's seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton will be guided by a new race engineer this season, following Ferrari's decision to reassign Riccardo Adami to manage the Driver Academy and oversee testing of previous models.
The Italian team has yet to reveal who will replace Adami, with an announcement expected soon. Hamilton, who moved to Ferrari from Mercedes last season, downplayed reports of discord with Adami, attributing any disagreement to normal professional dynamics.
Hamilton experienced a challenging season without podium finishes, a stark contrast to teammate Charles Leclerc. As Ferrari gears up for the 24-race season starting in March, the team is also adjusting to a new era of engine regulations.
