In a remarkable display of skill and resilience, India's Pramod Bhagat and Sukant Kadam snagged gold medals in their respective singles categories and clinched another gold together in the doubles event at the SPIRO SPATHIS Egypt Para Badminton International 2026, held in Cairo.

Bhagat exhibited his experience and strategic prowess in the SL3 men's singles final by overcoming compatriot Umesh Vikram Kumar in a tense three-set match. After dropping the first game 19-21, Bhagat bounced back to secure the next two games 21-15 and 21-13.

The SL4 category saw Sukant Kadam's steadfastness as he bested Surya Kant Yadav in straight sets with scores of 27-25 and 21-18. Their joint effort in the SL3-SL4 men's doubles culminated with a win by walkover, enhancing the Indian contingent's gold tally alongside triumphs by other compatriots.
