India strengthens its dominance at the Asian Shooting Championship, with standout performances by Samrat Rana and Suruchi Singh clinching silver in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. The Indian team secures a total of 10 gold medals, five silver, and one bronze, leading the medal tally.

India exhibited outstanding prowess at the Asian Shooting Championship, steadily maintaining their position at the top of the medal tally with a commendable performance by reigning world champion Samrat Rana and World Cup Final winner Suruchi Singh. The duo secured a silver medal in the highly competitive 10m air pistol mixed team event.

Strengthened by victories in both the junior and youth categories, Indian shooters ended the second competition day with an impressive medal count, consisting of 10 golds, five silvers, and a solitary bronze. Their performance outpaced that of Uzbekistan, whose team followed in a distant second place, amassing a total of only three golds.

Among the highlights was the 10m air pistol women junior event, where Rashmika Sahgal claimed gold with a high score, closely followed by Vanshika Chaudhary. Similarly, the youth category saw Priyanshi Purva taking gold, supported by Chahek Kohla's silver. Altogether, these achievements underscored India's shooting dominance in the region.
