Inter Kashi's Grit Secures Historic Draw Against FC Goa
On the opening day of the Indian Super League 2025-26, debut team Inter Kashi held seasoned contenders FC Goa to a 1-1 draw. Despite being down to 10 players, Inter Kashi's resilience was evident. Prasanth Karuthadathkuni and Dejan Drazic scored for their respective teams in a gripping encounter.
On the inaugural day of the Indian Super League 2025-26 season, the debut team Inter Kashi displayed remarkable resilience to earn a 1-1 draw against FC Goa, a seasoned ISL contender.
Reduced to 10 men late in the second half due to a crucial red card for goalkeeper Lluis Tarres, Inter Kashi impressively defended to secure a point. Prasanth Karuthadathkuni netted their first-ever ISL goal, just before halftime, before Dejan Drazic equalized for FC Goa through a penalty.
Despite FC Goa's dominance in possession and goal-scoring attempts, Inter Kashi was resolute, thwarting numerous efforts with collective discipline and determination. FC Goa couldn't capitalize on their numerical advantage, marking a commendable ISL debut for Inter Kashi.
