Diksha Dagar is set to spearhead a formidable five-member Indian team at this week's Australian WPGA Championship. Dagar, currently ranked ninth on the LET Order of Merit, will be joined by Pranavi Urs, Avani Prashanth, Hitaashee Bakshi, and Vani Kapoor. Both Diksha and Pranavi boast top-10 finishes from their recent Australian events, while Avani has had a moderate performance. Hitaashee is encountering challenges, and Vani did not make the cut last week.

The competition will be fierce as Major winner Hannah Green leads the field, aiming for her third consecutive victory in recent starts. Green's track record includes a historic victory at the Women's Australian Open, marking her as the first Australian winner since Karrie Webb in 2014. Her win in Adelaide, with a final round score of 70, outpaced rivals Agathe Laisne and Cassie Porter.

Green's recent triumphs also include a win on the LPGA Tour in Singapore. Returning to compete on the LET at the Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club, Green is paired with close friends Stephanie Kyriacou and New Zealand's Amelia Garvey. The matches, set to commence at 7:05 am on Thursday, promise to deliver thrilling golf action over the coming days.
