Vinay Kumar Yadav Clinches Maiden Title at PGTI NexGen

Vinay Kumar Yadav emerged victorious at the PGTI NexGen by defeating 15-year-old Arjunveer Shishir in a playoff. Yadav, who was initially in fourth place, maintained a consistent performance, carding a one-under 71 to tie with Shishir at three-under 213 before securing his first title.

Vinay Kumar Yadav, a golfer from Delhi, claimed his first victory after defeating teenager Arjunveer Shishir from Chandigarh in a gripping playoff at the PGTI NexGen tournament on Thursday.

The 30-year-old Yadav, who started the day tied for fourth, finished the 54-hole regulation play tied at three-under 213 with the young Shishir, before triumphing on the second playoff hole.

This tournament was part of the NexGen Tour initiated by DP World PGTI, aimed at offering Indian golfers equal opportunities and fostering a competitive golfing environment.
