In a commanding performance in Auckland, the New Zealand Women's cricket team secured a six-wicket victory over South Africa in the third T20I of the series, advancing to a 2-1 lead.

New Zealand's bowlers, led by Sophie Devine and Suzie Bates, played a pivotal role by restricting South Africa Women to 149/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Jess Kerr and Rosemary Mair also delivered crucial breakthroughs at pivotal moments.

During the run chase, skipper Amelia Kerr provided a steady start with 30 runs. However, it was Sophie Devine's unbeaten innings of 55, alongside Maddy Green's crucial 34, that anchored the team's chase to a successful close in just 18.4 overs.
