India's National Dope Testing Laboratory Faces Routine WADA Assessment

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) President, Witold Banka, announced Thursday that India's National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) will undergo a performance assessment in the upcoming months, a routine process according to the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).

Speaking at the Global Anti-Doping Intelligence and Investigations Network Final Conference, Banka confirmed the audit of NDTL, a facility re-evaluated by WADA since its suspension from 2019 to 2021 due to non-conformities.

India is also vying to host the upcoming WADA Global Education Conference, seeking to further its role in anti-doping education and international collaboration.
