Punjab Kings' head coach Ricky Ponting has dismissed any concerns over a rough patch for Arshdeep Singh, celebrating the bowler's work ethic after he led the team to a comprehensive seven-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians. The left-arm pacer's outstanding performance saw him dismiss key players like Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav early on, before removing Sherfane Rutherford in the death overs.

Initially wicket-less in his first three IPL matches this season, Arshdeep rebounded strongly with figures of 2/50 and 3/22 against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians, respectively.
