The Indian trio of Diksha Dagar, Tvesa Malik, and Hitaashee Bakshi encountered a challenging closing round, leading to a slip in their leaderboard positions at the 2026 MCB Ladies Classic in Mauritius. Initially holding strong positions, Diksha ended T-21 with a 74, Tvesa T-38 after shooting a 73, and Hitaashee finished at T-58 following a 76.
Denmark's Smilla Tarning Soenderby emerged victorious, securing her second Ladies European Tour (LET) title with a decisive birdie at the final hole, becoming the historic first winner of this Mauritius event. Notable performances included Sweden's Kajsa Arwefjäll and South Africa's Casandra Alexander, both tying for second place, while Italy's Anna Zanusso set an impressive benchmark with a bogey-free 9-under 63, achieving her career-lowest score and securing fourth place.
Adding to the competitive field, England’s Alice Hewson, France’s Agathe Laisné, Australia’s Kirsten Rudgeley, and the German duo of Alexandra Försterling and Celina Sattelkau all shared fifth place at 10-under-par. The LET now takes a brief respite before the action resumes with the Amundi German Masters in Hamburg from May 14-17.
