The Indian Golf Union (IGU) is gearing up to showcase its talent on the international stage as it prepares a three-member team to compete in the illustrious Queen Sirikit Cup next month. The tournament is set to take place at Sentul Highlands Golf Club in Bogor, Indonesia, from May 12 to 15, 2026.

Organized by the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation in collaboration with The R&A, the event will feature 15 nations, including defending champions South Korea. India's team is spearheaded by Guntas Kaur Sandhu, the 2025 Ladies Order of Merit champion, who has shown formidable performance with six victories in the IGU season.

Team members Ceerat Kang and Keya Badugu are also looking forward to international exposure. Vandana Aggarwal will accompany the team as manager. The Queen Sirikit Cup, a prestigious amateur golf event inaugurated in 1979, holds sentimental value as India aims to follow in the footsteps of past champions like Avani Prashanth.
