Gerard Pique Hit with Match Suspension and Activity Ban

Gerard Pique, who owns FC Andorra and previously defended for Barcelona, will miss the team's next six matches after receiving a ban from the RFEF. The suspension follows a verbal altercation with match officials.

The incident occurred after Andorra lost 1-0 to Albacete, where referee Alonso de Ena Wolf reported Pique's threatening remarks. Club president Ferran Vilaseca and sporting director Jaume Nogues also face penalties, with Vilaseca banned for four months and Nogues sharing Pique's suspension terms.

As part of the sanctions, Andorra must close its VIP areas for two games and pay a fine of €1,500 ($1,762). The defeat and subsequent sanctions affect the club's prospects for promotion playoffs.
