Outer Delhi Warriors Launches Future Star Under-15 Championship to Groom Young Cricket Talent

The Outer Delhi Warriors announced the Krishna Apra Future Star Under-15 Championship, a T20 series aimed at nurturing young cricket talent in Delhi NCR. The tournament, featuring live trials and auctions, will be held in June 2026, with Parthiv Patel and Aakash Chopra as brand ambassadors.

The Outer Delhi Warriors, a prominent franchise in the Delhi Premier League, unveiled the inaugural Krishna Apra Future Star Under-15 Championship. This innovative T20 series is designed to turn the spotlight on emerging cricket talents in Delhi NCR, as revealed in an official statement.

Scheduled to take place at the Jamia Millia Islamia grounds in New Delhi from June 20 to June 27, 2026, the championship will commence with trials in May, leading up to a live auction. The event will enjoy streaming coverage, providing a broad audience reach. Parthiv Patel, a former India wicketkeeper-batter, newly appointed as Brand Ambassador, brings experience from his previous role with the Gujarat Titans.

Joining Patel in ambassadorial duties is Aakash Chopra, offering his expertise as both a former player and current broadcaster. To ensure the tournament's success, Sanjay Rawat will serve as Secretary, with Navnati Dinesh, an ex-NCA Director, overseeing as League Observer. The championship aims to replicate the senior professional league experience with trials, auctions, and a competitive format to select top talents for the Outer Delhi Warriors Academy Training Programme, fostering future stars.
