Delhi Football Club triumphed in the I-League 2, earning a coveted promotion to the Indian Football League (IFL) following a tense 1-1 draw against United SC on Friday.

At the Kalyani Stadium, United Sports Club initially led through Susovan Ghosh's 54th-minute goal, but Delhi FC's Himanshu Jangra leveled the score in the 67th minute, securing a crucial point.

Meanwhile, FC Bengaluru United joined Delhi FC in clinching an IFL spot with a 1-1 tie against GMSC in Mumbai, drawing ahead on goal difference despite identical points with United SC.
