Sepp Kuss Clinches Historic Victory in Grueling Giro d'Italia Stage

Sepp Kuss of Team Visma-Lease a Bike made history with a solo win on stage 19 of the Giro d'Italia. He joined an elite group of cyclists with victories in all three Grand Tours. Despite Giulio Ciccone’s lead, Kuss closed the gap, winning the mountain stage 13 seconds ahead of Derek Gee-West.

Sepp Kuss and Jonas Vingegaard of Team Visma-Lease a Bike showcased their dominance in the mountainous terrain of stage 19 of the Giro d'Italia. Kuss's historic solo victory adds to his Grand Tour stage wins alongside achievements in the Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana.

Kuss’s success was realized despite facing a challenging 151-kilometer ride through the Dolomites. Giulio Ciccone initially led the race but was overtaken by Kuss in the final stages, securing the win by a 13-second margin.

As Vingegaard maintained his overall lead, the race also saw UAE Team Emirates' Jhonatan Narvaez withdraw following a minor injury. The cycling community celebrated Kuss's triumph as a testament to resilience and strategy.
