Kimi Antonelli Clinches Pole in Thrilling Monaco Qualifier

In a breathtaking qualifying showdown for the Monaco Grand Prix, Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli clinched the pole position, edging out Red Bull's Max Verstappen by a mere 0.043 seconds. The electrifying session witnessed Antonelli's commanding performance as he seeks to extend his lead in the world championship after four consecutive victories.

The 19-year-old Italian's impressive performance places him ahead of race favorites Ferrari, whose drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will start from the second row. Hamilton, clocking in 0.228 seconds slower, will be third on the grid, while local star Leclerc, a previous winner, secured the fourth spot.

Red Bull's Isack Hadjar captured fifth place, while Antonelli's teammate, George Russell, was left in a lackluster sixth position. Defending world champion Lando Norris, last year's Monaco victor, will start from the fourth row, alongside fellow McLaren driver Oscar Piastri.
