William Saliba, a prominent defender for France, is set to miss team training at the World Cup this Friday, as per an announcement by the French Football Federation (FFF). Saliba, who has been enduring back pain after a taxing season with Arsenal, is scheduled to undergo an individualized training program.
Despite these challenges, France's coach Didier Deschamps has expressed confidence in Saliba's recovery and confirmed his participation in the upcoming World Cup. Meanwhile, fellow players Theo Hernandez and Aurelien Tchouameni are also being rested as a precautionary measure.
France, who claimed the World Cup title in 2018, is gearing up to start their Group I matches on Tuesday, facing opponents such as Senegal, Iraq, and Norway. The team's preparations continue, highlighting their determination to secure another championship victory.
