Amidst fervent support from a home crowd, Britain’s Emma Raducanu defeated Uzbekistan’s Kamilla Rakhimova, progressing to the Queen’s Club Championships semi-final. Despite sustaining a thigh injury early in the second set, Raducanu clinched a 6-3, 7-5 victory.
The quarter-final, postponed due to previous inclement weather, saw Raducanu tactfully overcoming her opponent. Her next challenge is against the sixth-seeded American, Iva Jovic, who is brimming with confidence after defeating Amanda Anisimova in three sets.
