Double world champion Fernando Alonso described his weariness in explaining Aston Martin's poor performance, evident once again at the Spanish Grand Prix in front of his home fans.

In Barcelona, Alonso began the race at the back, marking his first outqualification in 42 races by Lance Stroll, who was himself significantly slower than pole position holder George Russell of Mercedes.

Aston Martin, grappling with engine, gearbox, and aerodynamic issues, is hoping for mid-season improvements. With Alonso’s future uncertain and the Spanish Grand Prix shifting to Madrid’s Madring circuit from Barcelona, the team aims to better its standing moving forward.
