The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has officially unveiled its cadre for the forthcoming U-17 World Wrestling Championships, scheduled to occur in Baku, Azerbaijan, from July 27 to August 2, 2026. The selection, finalized after rigorous trials in Sonipat and Lucknow, reflects the nation's most talented juvenile wrestlers, charged with representing India at this prestigious global event.
India's young squad embarks on its journey aiming to fortify the country's commanding presence in junior wrestling. With the women's contingent dominating the last two editions of the tournament, the team is driven to achieve a historic consecutive third victory.
