I-League 2018-19: Real Kashmir beats NEROCA 3-2

Real Kashmir FC defeated NEROCA FC 3-2 in their 19th match of the I-League 2018-19 on Saturday in Manipur. Subhas Singh gave NEROCA early lead in the match as the striker scored the goal in the 19th minute but Danish Farooq's double strike in the 29th and 49th minute and a strike from Bazie Armand in the 57th minute sealed the victory for Real Kashmir.

Felix Chidi scored a late consolation goal (90+5') for NEROCA but it was not enough to ensure a win for the club. David Robertson made three changes in the Real Kashmir XI with Abednego Tetteh, Vicky Meetei and Abhas Thapa all missing out and their place was taken by Gnohere Krizo, Ritwik Kumar Das and Muhammad Hammad.

NEROCA boss Manuel Fraile Retamero too made three alterations in the Manipur club's starting XI. Lalit Thapa, Sebastian Thangmuansang and Felix Chidi were replaced by Bishorjit Singh, Saran Singh and Ashok Singh. With the win against NEROCA, the I-League debutants confirmed the third position on the league table. They play their final match against Minerva Punjab FC. (ANI)
