Bengals waive off Washington

The Cincinnati Bengals waived defensive tackle Adolphus Washington on Tuesday. Washington played in four games for the Bengals last season before suffering a season-ending knee injury in November. He had six tackles and one sack.

Washington, 24, was a third-round pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2016. He had 3.5 sacks in 31 games (21 starts) for the Bills. Buffalo released Washington last September. The Dallas Cowboys then signed him to their practice squad and the Bengals signed Washington off the practice squad on Sept. 26.
