His left foot was sliding forward as he stretched to catch a high throw from pitcher Matt Wisler and he unexpectedly found himself in a full split with the right foot coming off the bag. Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby, Tampa Bay Lightning winger Nikita Kucherov and Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid are the three finalists for the Hart Memorial Trophy, which goes to the NHL's Most Valuable Player.
