Soccer-Leicester's Choudhury fined for social media comments

Leicester City's England under-21 midfielder Hamza Choudhury has been fined 5,000 pounds ($6,514) by the FA for historical comments made on social media that included racial references. "Comments posted by the Leicester player on social media... which included a reference to ethnic origin and/or race and/or sexual orientation, were found to be abusive and/or insulting and/or improper and/or brought the game into disrepute."

The 21-year-old was also warned about his future conduct. Choudhury has made 11 appearances in all competitions for Leicester this season. They are ninth before hosting Chelsea in their final Premier League match of the season on Sunday.
